Twitter layoff staff again.
About 50 employees were let go by Twitter over the weekend in an effort to balance a decline in revenue and trim headcount.
There have been at least eight layoffs at the company since Elon Musk took charge in October.
Several engineering teams, including those that handle advertising technologies, the primary Twitter app, and the technical foundation that keeps its systems functioning, were affected by the job layoffs.
Musk implemented cost-cutting measures in November 2022 by letting go of roughly 3,700 employees from the microblogging service.
