Under Decree No. 48 of the 29th of December 1989, the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) was founded as a federal law enforcement agency.
The order was issued primarily in response to the growing demand for and trafficking in narcotics and psychotropic substances, which in the 1980s had a negative impact on Nigerians’ reputation abroad.
Since then, the trafficking of illegal substances has developed into an organized crime that threatens the nation’s security and economic growth, necessitating immediate response and top priority from the government.
To further tackle this menace,NDLEA is looking for applications from suitable individuals for full-time positions in the capacities listed below:
