Guide on how to record a podcast on YouTube
YouTube has recently added the feature of podcasting on their platform.Aside sharing a video content,an audio content can also be shared
Here are the step-by-step instructions on how to record a podcast on YouTube:
1. Set up your YouTube channel: Before you can start recording a podcast on YouTube, you need to have a YouTube channel. You can follow the steps I provided earlier to create a YouTube channel if you don’t have one yet.
2. Choose a recording software: You will need recording software to record your podcast. There are several options available for smartphones or computer, including Adobe audition,super sound recorder e t.c
3. Set up your recording equipment: To record, you will need a microphone, headphones or earphones, and a quiet area free from background noise. Set up your equipment before starting to record.
4. Open your recording software: Open your recording software and choose the microphone as your input device.
5. Start recording: Start recording your podcast by clicking on the record button in your recording software. While recording, make sure to speak clearly and stay on topic.
6. Stop recording: Once you’re done recording, click on the stop button in your recording software to stop the recording.
7. Edit your podcast: Use the editing tools in your recording software to edit any mistakes, remove unwanted sounds, and add background music or sound effects.
8. Export your recording: Once you’re happy with your final recording, export it to a common audio format like MP3 or WAV.
9. Create a video for your podcast: To upload your podcast to YouTube, you’ll need to create a video file to go along with your audio. You can create a simple video with a static image and your podcast audio, or you can add images, videos, or animations to make it more engaging.
10. Upload your podcast to YouTube: Once you have created a video for your podcast, upload it to YouTube by clicking on the “Upload” button at the top of the YouTube homepage. Choose the video you created for your podcast, add descriptions, tags, and other relevant information, and click on “Publish.”
You can now record your first podcast on YouTube! Remember to schedule your content on your social media pages and notify your subscribers when you publish new podcasts.
